Great News!

Hi all, My company is dropping BC/BS as of January 1st. I don't have an exact surgery date yet, but it will be by the end of the year. I had my initial consultation with Dr. Danyo. They received my approval about five days after receiving the doctors notes, etc. You really need to have the doctors document the rashes, back pain, etc. Take pictures. The insurance companies need to make sure that it is medically necessary. They really are getting strict with the approvals, since Gastric bypass has become so popular. Congrats on your approval!! I had My TT last wednesday, 10/26. I went for my 1 week check up. Things are going okay,. I did how ever develope dertimitis on my inision cause by moisture when I used pads over my insision. Then the spoort belt they put around you afterwards, well, take it from me, it feels allot better if you get a white tee shirt and pull it over top of your insision then put the support band on top of that, feels much better. I still have my drains in. Its amazing how it looks afterwards, seeing a flat stomach! Wow!! its been over 30 yrs since I saw that, LOl, i'm glad I had it done but as for getting anything else nip & tuck, na, its not for me! Good luck with your TT. Betty
