Hey Vicky,
This sounds silly, but eat a protein bar like MetRX or something... the sugar alcohols that they use to sweeten it have a laxative effect... it's worth a shot, they keep me regular! Hope it works for you (and it's a good source of protein)

PS Lay off milk and applesauce... they are both known to have constapative effects on people...
I am a big fan of SF chocolate candies...take two! They are small but usually two will do it for me! Along with stool softeners...Hopefully the malitol will help you free that blockage! Lay off the benefiber....if it did not work the first time you used it its not going to work as a laxative for you....sometimes it works the opposite on people....I use it when I have diarrehea....go figure huh!
Vickie.
You have my sympathy. Here is a recipe for Power Pudding. There are many recipes out there that are similiar. Just search power pudding on the internet...you will be surprised. Anyway, here is a good one but you have to be careful with the sugar content !!!
POWER PUDDING:-
Ingredients:-
*3 1/4 cups cooked prunes
*2 cups apple juice
*2 cups prune juice
*1 cup bran
Puree the ingredients and refrigerate the mixture.
Start with a 2 or 3 ounce serving 3 to 7 days a week. Adjust the amount and frequency to achieve a normal stool pattern.
Also.
You can try pears in thier own juice mixed with crushed bran flakes.
I hear pears are the "new" prunes...good luck!!!!

Gigee, where do I get smooth move? I'm drinking a cup of regular coffee to help get me going. I take alot of Iron and well you know what that does to you! I drank a cup of coffee on sunday morning and that REALLY helped get me moving! I'm drinking a cup right now because I should be going at least every other day or so. I don't want to feel miserable like I did on sunday.
Very common Vickie, your body has gone through a major change. Enemas are part of the healing as I put it. Once you start to eat on a regular basis and get in your walks and water that should pass. However , please consult your Dr. as it may be some underlying health issue. This will pass, as it did for many who had your problem.
Good Luck
