Hello everyone, I had my TT on Wednesday morning and back home thursday afternoon. For the most part of this surgery is a breeze, but at the first time I got up to use the bathroom, WOW! I was a sore puppy! Each time was getting better. The only real time it hurts is getting in and out of bed. I'm a nervous wreak till these drains come out. I go back tot he dr next thursday, pray they come out! Doctor show me how to take out the one drain that has on-Q drain. The tube is as fine as a hair.I hope I get it all out. I had my surgery done at the wilm hospital. Let me tell you, my doctor was super, the nursing care suck! right now i'm too loopy to go into it, I took my pain meds. I know all this pain will be worth it in the long run. I just hope the 4 weeks that I'm home from work that I will survive being 24/7 with hubby. He is a constant complainer. Thank you for listing to be babble here. Betty

Hello everyone again, Today I feel much better now that I was able to take a shower and wash my hair. Got rid of that funky old blood smell from the tape that came off. I hand wash the support band that is around my "new" belly.. I was able to let it air dry and I sat still for awhile then was able to put it back on. Im using pads on the long insision. I fell better but still require pain meds because my insions hurt, does anyone elses hurt as well, a week after surgery? Im going to have to get more when I go back. Thanks for letting me babble on here. So far so good surviving with hubby here, LOL.. Betty
