Hot Chocolate Questions

Hi all I normally don't drink hot chocolate which I guess this is why I am asking this question. For all those that drink it, what do you buy or what do you get? Meaning I saw swiss miss hot chocolate and 1 envelope has 9 grams of sugar? Does anyone make it special? If someone could let me know I would appreciate it. Christie

This sounds good...I wonder if vanilla protein powder would work as well since you are using baking cocoa? I don't have chocolate protein in house this week. Thanks for the recipe!

Chrisitie, Sometimes I use sugar free swiss miss or the Healthwise that I get at the doctor's office. I am going to try Kevin's though. That sounds good and is probably cheaper than the packets of healthwise. Ellen

Christine, I use the hot chocolate (dr's office 15 gr protein) or Swiss Miss (fat free with calcium 3 gr protein, 7 gr sugar), mix with Carb countdown skim milk (8 gr protein) and I put in 1/2 tsp of decafe coffee. Warm it up. Lil' redi-whip on top. Tastes like Kalua flavored hot coco. mmmmmmm. Elissa

Hi Christie, Thanks for asking this question, I was wondering myself. Thanks too to everyone for the recipes - I can't wait to get home and try them. I like having a cup of cocoa before bed. Hope you all have a great day!!!! Cathy
