Cardiac Catherization!!!!!

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that tomorrow the 18th, i go in for my cardiac catherization. My only worry is that they go through the groin and I have had clots in my groin area before. Otherwise, I think I am o****il I hear any bad results if there are going to be any. Like I stated before I am just hoping that there was something wrong with the machine and that everything is fine. I should be home later tom. but if they have to fix something or something comes up they will keep me. Please keep me in your prayers and I will update when I can. Christie

Christie, My thoughts are prayers are with you. I had to have the Cath before my bypass surgery. While I don't have any clotting problems, it was still unknown to me and to be totally honest, it was a bit scary beforehand. Afterwards, I found it was a piece of cake, pardon the bypass pun. Christie, Other than the groin thing....I have had 2 cardiac cath's and 3 cardiac stents implanted. You will do fine! Lisa and I will keep you in our prayers. Kevin

Good morning Christie!!!!!!! I had the same test about three weeks ago and I believe that you will be okay...I was nervous about the same thing...but they will put you to sleep and I went home the same day....my prayers are with you... Also I had a roomate that was in her 80's who had the test three times this year and I said if this precious mother can go through, so can I.... update us how you make out....Gail
