Recipe's to share
Anyone that has come to the Healthy Beginnings Support Group meetings has probably tasted some of my concoctions. Here are just 2 for you all to try. I always go for color. One is orange and the other green. Happy cooking. Elissa

Hi E,
I had a look at the website and there are no listings for new stores opening in Newark as of yet. Darnit, I want one down my way! Oh, and check the label on the Carb Countdown...once again the pwers that be took something that wasn't broken and fixed it. The sugars are still much lower than regular milk, however the extra protein has been removed for whatever reason. I sent them an email complaining and got some lame form letter, can't even remember what it said. I still use it but only because the sugar content ( natural sugars in milk ) are so much lower than actual milk. Carb Countdown has 3 grams, my half gallon of 2% has 12 grams.
Hope we can catch up soon,
Linda
It looks like Carb Countdown is also 8 grams of protein for 1 cup. So if they took out the protein I wonder what else they took out. Hood is having severe financial problems and they got rid of everything else in there line except for the Carb Countdown. That could be the next to go since the lo-carb market is on the decline. The only real difference between Carb and skim milk now is price. Trader Joe's has a real good Soy Milk that is much cheaper than the mega-grocery stores.
