Sunday Role Call

Good morning all!!!! Hope all has a good Sunday. I was very busy yesterday and I didn't get home until 6:30p.m. I did take my daughter out to lunch for her birthday. She picked the place so we went to King's Buffet in Dover. I didn't think I would do well there but they had some things I could eat. I picked at my food and I know they made money on me but it wasn't bad. The company was good. My grandchildren ate more then me. I cooked some fresh asparagus this morning. Taste really good too. I am going to church this morning. I think I will cook my husbands favorite dinner. Italian Meatloaf, mash potatoes and some veggie. Mine will be asparagus but he doesn't like it. Will walk Rehobeth mall with a friend and stop for decaf coffee after our walk.Anyone ever want to join us ,we would love to have you walk with us. See all lighter. Joanne

Good Morning Joanne, I have been away from the boards for a while, I had off work this week, and it seems like I haven't got a thing done. But I was busy every day. Friday I decided to get busy exercising again, yes I have been bad, no walking for 2 weeks. So friday I went to the YMCA and walked a mile and a half on the inside track, then got on the bike, then worked out on the machines. Needless to say, my legs felt like rubber, I over did it. Then as soon as I was ready to leave, I got a phone call from my husband, that my son cut his hand in Vo Tech. I was right down the street from the hospital, so he went and got him and met me at the hospital, he got five stitches, and we spent a total of 3 and a half hours there. Saturday, I went to a wedding a girl from our church got married, it was nice. Sunday (today) I am going to church, my husband is busy playing catch up with his grass mowing business. Isn't the sun feeling wonderful? And tommorrow I go back to work. And I will continue with my walking again. I have a goal to meet by Christmas, I want to be in the 100's so I have about 15 pounds to get off. Take care, Dana

Dana, Glad to see you back. You were missed!!!!!You will make that goal. The sun is out down here but it is really breezie. Had to wear a jacket to church. Sounds like you had a good busy vacation. Sorry to hear about your son . Glad to hear you are back to exercizing. Lord knows I know about rubber legs. I am exercizing an hour a day now either at physical theropy or home. See you lighter. Good Afternoon All, I have not really done anything today, but try to stay warm. I am freezing. I did notice the smallest pair of pants that I own are getting big on me. That would be a good thing, but a bad thing because I have to buy new ones. I hate clothes shopping, I am not sure if it is because i was big and had a hard time finding clothes or what. Other than that I am not doing anything. My husband had to take his grandmother to Dover for church service at 4 pm, so it just leaves me and the boys here. That is about all of my day in a nut shell. Christie

Good Afernoon everyone, I had a very busy and I mean busy weekend. Yesterday we went and helped clean up the community by our church and in the process we found what looked to me a human femer/leg bone. Wound up calling 911 and they came and took it. We continued to clean up until 12 noon, then went back to the church for pizza. Left church and took my son to my mom's to cut her grass and I went to a ham and oyster dinner in Christiana. From there I came home and my son and I went to Newark for the New Castle County Band Festival. It was awesome, I love my son's high school band and could watch them every day. Today we got up and went to church then went down to Vetern's cemetery where my dad is buried, the 25th is his birthday and I will be in Hawaii, so we went down there. It is so beautiful down there. Came home and rested and now we are in the process of getting ready for youth group. Won't be home tonight before 8pm now. Busy, busy, busy. Hope everyone had a great weekend Deanna
