Hello all!!!!!! This hair thing is driving me crazy!!! Not to complain too much but I did have a little hair loss. That has stopped but now my Hair is SO DRY AND DEAD AT THE ENDS IT IS FRUSTRATING. I ended up going to my hair stylist and she gave me some conditioner for very damaged hair. It is working a little. I had to end up getting all my ends and plus some cut off. Was a little disappointed because I am trying to let me hair grow. OH WELL!!!!! This is something to expect with the surgery. Would do it all over again in a second though!!!!! I am doing fantastic with everything else. I am five months out and 83 pounds lighter. It is totally amazing. Not one thing in my closet fits. Everything is too big and I still wear it because it would just be a big waste of money to go out and buy a bunch of clothes. ELISSA CALL ME!!!!!! GIGEE!!!! I WOULD LOVE TO COME AND GET PAMPERED WITH YOU. TOO FAR AWAY!! PLUS I HAVE TWO WEDDINGS TO GO TO THAT DAY!!! LET ME KNOW A LITTLE MORE AHEAD OF TIME AND I WOULD LOVE TO COME TO SPEND THE DAY WITH YA!!!!! Hope all is well with everyone!!!! Made a big decision a couple of days ago. Ready to go back to work!!! Once my son graduates from preschool in May, I am looking for a job. The only reason why I left my work in the first place was to get my son on track as he had some developmental delays. He is on track and doing very well in school this year. They are doing a pilot program at the local school for all day kindergarten. If all goes well this year it looks like he will be in all day kindergarten next fall. If all goes well, he will be in all day school and Mom will be that Social Worker that she loves to be. It will be even better this time because I am mentally and emotionally stronger now that I have been through this WLS journey. And always, THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THEIR ON GOING SUPPORT. THIS WEBSITE IS THE BEST IN THE WORLD. !!!!!!!!! yaaahooooo!!!!!!!! SMILES! Julie

Hi Julie, I know the feeling with hair loss. I always wondered why people also seemed to have gotten a new hair style and now I know why. but it gets better. Like you I would do it all over again. That is great that you want to go back to work. Iwill be starting Nov. 7 to get a degree for Medical Assistant and I am so excited about it. I have aleays wanted to work in the health field. Well I wish you luck on all your journies. Christie

Julie, We missed you and your Mom at the last meeting. I know how you feel about the hair loss. I went last Friday and had a new do. The stylist had to style my hair different to make my hair look fuller. He did say in about 3 months I would have a healthy head of hair and it looks like it is coming back in curly. Look forward to seeing you at the next meeting. See you lighter. Joanne
