I'm here

Hi everyone. Just an update. I had surgery on October 4, 2005. It was a little more involved than expected. Had to do an open surgery. Well I found out on the 10th of a probable infection. Had to go to CT scan for a test. Yep, I do have an infection. There is also a pocket of fluid underneath the incision line. They have to go and put a drain in to get the fluid out and start me on new antibiotics. So I am here waiting for the procedure. I am having quite a bit of pain with all this and to top it off, I am having problems with my back. I am not able to get up and do my walking. Will keep you updated as things happen. Jo

Jo, Hang in there. I had some of the same complications . I am now 6 months out. 102lbs lighter and feeling the best I have ever felt in my life. Do the best you can for now and walk as soon as you can. Walking is one of the best medicines to help you at this point. Hope you are feeling better soon. See you lighter. Joanne
