MIA

Hello, I know, bad Rachel, MIA for so long!!! I'm trying to adjust to eating solid foods now and have discovered that my body wants nothing to do with them yet. I'm weak, tired, grumpy, irritable, and no, I do not have PMS right now. My daughter's pediatrician told me I look malnourished and that my color shows signs of me being low on iron... it wouldn't shock me too much, before anyone lectures, I'm still eating, even when I don't want to, I'm getting in a minimum of 70g of protein a day but usually closer to 100, and am trying to walk when I can. My c-pap mask doesn't fit either, and I'm not sleeping well because of it. Insurance won't cover a new mask for me for another month or so either. I feel so blah and lifeless right now, hope this explains why I'm MIA. Hugs, Rachel

Hey Rachel, Hang in there!!! I know I felt pretty bad when I first started on solid foods. The one thing I had trouble with, and still do, is taking the iron supplement. It was making me sick to my stomach, so what I did was start taking 5 of the Flintstones, and that has seemed to help alot!!! It might help you too!!! Hope you're feeling better soon!!!!

I understand about the mask thing....I am going through that now. What I have done is tighten the straps as much as I can stand it so I could get a seal. Some nights it works and others....well you can tell I am tired on those days! I mouth breath too! And the chin strap is not working like it use to either. What an expense....I told my sleep doc I need to come in for a mask fitting....Unforunately I have to wait till Dec to do something.....I didn't realize my facial features were getting too small to support that small mask! I don't think they make anything smaller..... Debbie
