Hello, My name is Joy and I lerk on this board daily, very rarely do I write. I meet some of you losers at the picinic. Well I have a problem, it started yesterday. My pouch is very painful. I had my surgery 10 months ago so I am confused why the pain started now. I am having trouble eating because of the pain. I lost 1 pound since yesterday because I was unable to eat. Does anyone have any advise. I have not call the doctor yet, wanted to wait to see if the paid subsides. It has only been one day. Thanx, Joy 317/184/-134

Hi Joy, unfortunately I do not have any suggestions, do you know for sure that it is your pouch or other surronding areas. I would definately call the dr. and not wait to see if they pain goes away. Keep us posted and WELCOME TO THE BOARD Christie

Joy: I wanted to welcome you. And I agree with Christie, call the doc. Could be a lot of things. Sooner you get it named, you can get it corrected. Good luck. Dianne

Joy, DON'T WAIT!!!!! The doctors would rather find out it is nothing than have you get in trouble for waiting too long. Call today. Ellen

Hello Joy, Have you called the Doctor's office yet? 892-9900 so you won't have to look it up. Hopefully you are getting fluids in even if you can't eat? Don't delay calling the Dr's. Better safe than sorry. You never know. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Thank you so much for answering my post everyone. I will be calling the office as soon as they get back from lunch. It is so very nice to have the support from everyone out there. Does anyone have an Ulcer, if so what does the pain feel like and what do they do for it. I am kind of thinking maybe that is what it might be. Joy

Hello Joy! A friend of mine who has had surgery also had pains as well, and it turned out to be an ulcer. However, just like everyone else *****plied to you, check with the docs first, they will know for sure, and hopefully they can treat it before it gets any worse for you! Best of luck and please keep us updated! -Joe-
