Sorry you are still sick Bonnie I do have IBS but I didn't get it after WLS like you. I got it years ago and it does still bother me from time to time. I don't remember the name of it, but this is something you can look into. I will still having lots of trouble and not feeling well and a nurse that works with my mom recommended these tablets (I think we got them at GNC) Anyway, they are chewable tablets and their job was to replace the natural bacteria in my intestines since being so sick had flushed everything out. I wish I could remember the name. I know that I had to keep the tablets in the refrigerator. It might be something you want to look into...it certainly couldn't hurt and I remember feeling better after I took them. Good Luck, I am still routing and praying for you!!!! (((BONNIE)))

Hi Bonnie!!
I'm so sorry you're still not feeling well. I was diagnosed with IBS about 6 years ago. The doc at that time put me on a drug called Librax. While it worked ok, I didn't like the way the drug made me feel. I was always exhausted. The drug contains librium, so I'm sure that's why I was so tired. Funny thing though, I took myself off the medicine about 2 years ago, and have not had any problems since. At that time, I took on a new philosophy to not let things worry me so much, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with me not having problems now or if the doctor's just didn't know what the problem was and called it IBS to appease me. Unfortunately, I don't have any great words of wisdom to offer, but I do want you to know you're in my thoughts and prayers. You might want to check out what WebMD has to say about IBS - it may help a little. Try posting on the main messageboard too, I'm sure there are other folks around who have experienced what you're going through now.
Take care, love, and let me know if there's anything I can do to help you!!!!
Hugs & !!!!!
