PICNIC & ROLL CALL!!!!

Hello everyone It was so glad to see you all at the picnic. Although I am not the person to go around and say hello to everyone. First, let me give a big hand to KENN MILLER. Kenn thank you for everything it was a great picnic and thank you for organizing it. Your the BEST Everyone looks great and seems to be doing great with hardly any complaints. I think now I can put a face to the people who only have a name So everyone feel free to post here how your day was and if you enjoyed the picnic or if you were unable to make it. Lets keep BONNIE MILLER in our prayers, I know Vicki left the party and said she was going to see her. Christie

Ditto to all of Christie comments. The picnic was great! What a super turn out. I am sure everyone had a great time. Kenn is awesome. I know how much work he put into this and I hope he knows how much we appreciate it. My husband had a great time meeting all the people I have been talking about. Kenn, You should hold your head up high and be proud. You did a really great job with this picnic. I came late due to having to work but still had a good time and even got some cloths that fit. I enjoyed meeting several people that I talk to on here. You could just feel the closness and love within the group from the Drs on down. What a good feeling. Next year I hope I can come early so I don't miss anything. Thanks again for a job well done. I could see your heart was really in it. See all lighter. Joanne

Sounds like you all had a wonderful time today. I am sorry that I didn't get to make it. As I said before, I have family in from out of town and my grandmother ended up getting very ill last night and I didn't want to leave her today. I wish I lived closer and I may have stopped by, but an hour and then some is more than just down the road. I really was looking forward to meeting everyone I am glad you all had fun, I am sure there will be a next time and I won't miss it....promise. Robyn

Hey Everyone, I have to say that although i appreciate all your praises. I couldnt have done it without the Help of Vickie, Her fiance Joe & his Son Frankie, Gigee, Sharon (who hasnt even had her surgery yet) Ellen S., Kevin and his wife Lisa, and to Mary & Shay for helping cleanup towards the end. If i forgotten anyone, please accept my apologies, i am still winding down from all the excitement. I was so happy to see so many people there with their spouses, friends, families and children. I do wish Bonnie could have been their, she was truly looking forward to it, but we can do our own part by keeping her in our prayers. The clothing swap went better then i expected. Next year, i promise you, more children activities, and something bigger and better. This year we got our feet wet, so now we know there's an interest out their. I am thinking of organizing a little get together, around the holidays! Someone, who i cant even give credit to, suggested that i check out a restuarant, and see what kind of special deal we can get, for a group, i'll keep you all posted. Again, Many Many Thanks to each and everyone of you who helped set up, breakdown and helped make the Picnic a Huge Success. Whoever gets a picture developed from the Group Photo, please let me know, i like to get a negative of it and have it blown up to a much bigger size. From your friend... Kenn

Woo Hoo What a HUGE success that was! You all sould be very proud of yourselves! What an incredible bunch of people! My hubby and I had a great time and my daughter made a new "best friend" on the playground. Hubby even trotted down to the pond and caught 3 small bass! I can't get over how good everyone looks! Deb Deb, my hubby thinks you're HOT! (guess I'll have to start keeping a close eye on him at these gatherings! LOL) Of course I'd already told him about you from when I met you at my first meeting pre-op. I told him I wanted to look like you when I grew up! Lets just say he's all for that! It was so great catching up with Kim V, Rosie D and Andrea from my "fat" class and meeting everyone's families. Gigee, you look fantastic and I'm so glad your back and leg are working now. Kim S, I'll see you at Curves THIS WEEK! No excuses! Joy S, I know you're "Lurking" out there, I have the leftover clothes and I will drop them off at Dr. Field's office tonight on my way to school (around 5:15). In case you didn't hear, all of the leftover clothes from the clothing swap are being donated to the hurricane relief. Dee

Hi all, I agree. The picnic was a huge success. Kenn Miller did a fantastic job. What a terrific guy! It was wonderful to see everyone. I'm so amazed when I see people. The changes are fantastic. God Bless everyone! We have been blessed with wonderful doctors. How many doctors would take the time out of their weekend to spend with patients! Chrias is the best. Boy are we lucky!
