Hello to all!!!!!!! Sorry I have not posted in a while. Having fun with my new ME and with my kids. School has started so it is busy around my house. I have to travel to Rehoboth three days a week this year to take my son to preschool. Well, this is my exciting news. I have been going to the boardwalk to walk while my son is at preschool. Today!!! I walked 4 miles in an hour and 15 minutes. I think that is pretty D--- good if I must say so myself!!!! Was not out of breath or even tired. I am down 76 pounds!!! I am in a size 18/20 and loving it. The other day I was going through my closet and trying on clothes. I had purposely put off trying on my old jeans because I knew before surgery I looked awful in them. Well the other day, I got the nerve up to try on all my old jeans and guess what!!!!! They are all too BIG!!! I was ecstatic. So I went to Fashion Bug the other day and bought a new pair of jeans in a size 20 (at that) and they look good on me!!!! This journey has been the best thing that has ever happened to me (besides my husband and our two kids). Everywhere I go, I get a wonderful compliment from someone. This is wonderful and can be addicting too. LOL!!!!! I even had my husband's best friend tell me that I do not need to lose anymore weight. That I look fine the way I am. NOT!!!! I have to get under that 200 pound mark. I still have 38 pounds to get to 199. And that day is coming!!!!! You better believe it!!!! Hope all is well with everyone. I will try harder to keep you up to date! Smiles! Julie

Congratulations Julie! You're doing great! We're both at about the same level of progress. I too am down to an 18/20 from a size 30. I've lost 78 pounds since May 23. I would love to have 100 pounds gone by my birthday on 20 Oct but I don't know if I'll make it. My weight loss has slowed down considerably. I'm kind of stuck at the moment - haven't lost since last week. The best part is I'm off ALL my diabetes medications (4 pills a day) and I don't have to take insulin shots anymore as of a week ago! My blood pressure medication has been cut in half and I may be off that too in another month. I feel great, can't eat meat, but otherwise feel great! Keep up the great work and give my best to your Mom! Jean

Hey Bonnie!!!!! Thanks!!! Mom and I have been soo busy. We could not make the Saturday meeting because my family and I went to Penn. to see Thomas the Tank engine. My son loves him. I have something to do every Saturday this month. Next month is not looking any better. We will be unable to make the picnic either. I have to help out at my Church on Saturday and I have a bridal shower to go to as well. Tell everyone I said hello at the picnic. I will try very hard to get to the support meeting next month. Hope all is well. Thanks for your continued support!!!! Smiles! Julie
