Cardiologist Appt.......

Hello all, well I went to the cardiologist today, he does not think that my chest pains are heart related. He did an EKG there and everything was fine. But he is sending me for a stress test to make sure. I did not have one of these before the surgery and he thought I did. What he came to the conclusion was......I have a hital hernia, you know (something to tdo with the essophagus (?) and something else of the espho. he thinks because of the surgery that it triggers the stress pain that I feel but that it also gives me chest pains..... So he is puttin me back on protonix and wants me to have the stress test done, and see me in 6 weeks.... Lets pray that this is what it is...And it is not my heart... Christie

Well, that's good that he doesn't think it's your heart. Good luck with the stress test. Have you been checked for an ulcer? I remember years ago after my brother had dropped alot of weight on WW, we had to rush him to the hospital one night with chest pains. Turns out he had really bad gas! They gave him some antacids, he belched, and was fine! Maybe all you need is a really good burping! LOL just kidding. Hopefully your problem will be easily cured. Dee
