Hi Lew, so are you or are you not attending PMRI? They are just basic classes that inform you and give you information on what to expect and what not to expect with the surgery. Pretty much helping you get prepared for the surgery, telling you everything you will need, how to eat, things like that. As far as your wife goes, I am not really sure about that. No one in my class came with anyone else, we were there by ourselves. Hope this helps. Christie

Hi Lew, There were several folks in my class who brought along their support persons, and it was fine with our instructors. The PMRI classes helped teach us about what to expect after surgery, and especially stressed how and what to eat to optimize our nutrition. This is the first time I've heard of classes in Middletown--ours were at PMRI in Wilmington. Good luck to you-- Sue

Welcome, Lew. Good luck in your journey. I work at Christiana Care and this is the first I'm hearing about PMRI-Middletown! My co-workers didn't know either. That's exciting that they have opened another office and are able to accomodate the people more south in DE. Dianne

uh oh...seems like i need to double check my info...i was told that the sessions were going to be from 1-4 on 3 consecutive saturdays at the middletown location ( i was at work..the message was relayed by my wife )..i am really starting to get excited and nervous at the same time...i know i have a ways to go, but i really would enjoy being able to breathe a bit easier and move around a little more as well

That's the road where the sleep center I went to is. I heard that they were opening a new Care center there. That's wonderful news for those of you south of the canal.
