Trip to the ER

Hello everyone, well I thought my day started off pretty good until I started having chest pains, and heaviness on the shoulders. I talked to my primary dr. and they told me to call the cardiologist. So I called she gave me this long speech about how I have not been there in so long, who was managing my coumadin....etc....etc......Made you feel real miserable, anyway I have to see him on Friday. So I called my primary dr. back and she stated that is just ridiciulous (?) that they are making you wait that long, so she told me to go to the ER...I went......stubborn me Guess I went because I was feeling horrible, still am but thought I would post this.......anyway they do blood work, xray and cat scan, they did the xray for my lungs and the cat scan for the chest because I have history of blood clots, and some damage to my veins.....Anyway at 530 I told my husband to see what was taking so long after 10 min he came back and stated they told him everything was fine and they were sending me home. So I cam home and they stated that is was 'STRESS AND ANXIETY' They gave me a script for xanax and pepcid.... What the HELL was that all about.....how was my blood work,, does the dr. not tell you anything now a days. Anyway I was not feeling stressed or anything enjoying the day with my nephew and hubby. Dumb ass dr.s Anyway, I am going to lay down just thought I would let you all know. Christie

Good gracious, Christie. I would suggest you call your pcp and have her go over your labs and find out exactly what that could have been. Scary. Hoping you are feeling better today. Dianne
