Medical Alert Bracelet???

I know that it has been asked several times but I just wanted to double check before I purchased. I am 13 mos. post-op and still haven't purchased one...shame, shame, shame!! I had gastric bypass and was wondering what exactly should the med. id bracelet be inscribed with?? Thanks for the info, Missy

I just ordered mine from Lauren's Hope and have: My Name RNY Gastric Bypass No NG w/out scopy No NSAIDS, (my dr's name... and ph #) Hope this helps!! Blanche

I took the advice of another gbs patient and looked on the creativemedicalid.com site and found very nice bracelets and watches that were about half the cost of Lauren's Hope. I have a beautiful hematite and Swarovski crystal bracelet that I wear with the name turned to the back. It just looks like a great bracelet.

I ordered one from Lauren's Hope and since then I have made about 15 bracelets to go with the tag. I change almost everyday depending on what I am wearing. I put Gastric bypass (6/05) No NG Tubes No NSAIDS/Aspirin NO Sugar Doctor's phone # Hope this helps. Ellen
