I feel as though I can eat anything-- and I have. Does anyone know when to expect my first "fill" and will that change my ability to consume different amounts and food items? Sinceriously, the support program at SFH as provided no info what so ever. I wish I had spent the extra money and went to PMRI. Help, please! Also, I seem to notice there are few "lapbanders" posting on here. Is there anyone out there that I can comiserate with?

Hi Chris, There is a Lap band support group meeting that meets once a month, I will look back and see the exact time. About not getting full, I experience that so I have to measure what I eat. I will get back with you on the support group meeting. Dana

Dana, thanks so much for your response. You seem t always have encouragement for everyone, and believe me, it is appreciated. I feel like I am hanging out in the wind all alone. Seems as though everyone has had RNY and no one with Lapband posts. I have hit rock bottom and am hoping to see either a psychologist or psychiatrist today. Just waiting on the call. THings have to get better, they can't get any worse. I really do appreciate your kindness to a stranger like me. Someday, I hope to repay someone in the same manner. And, by the way, you are looking great! Thanks and prayer, Chris Jones

Hi Chris, How are you doing today? I found out that the lap-band group meets the first thursday of each month at Concordia Lutheran Church.
