Is the jury out on Sugar Alcohol? I hear people talk about Rita's Sugar Free Italian Ice.I just checked the Nutritional Averages on Rita's products and it states a kid's size has 18 Sugar Alcohol. At PMRI we were told to avoid sugar alcohol? Does anyone have any knowledge they can share on this?
Sugar alcohol is to be treated the same as sugar. I'd say 18 grams is about 12 too many. Unless you take into consideration the amount of water ice. If 1 cup is 18 grams, you could have about 2 tablespoons to make 6 grams. I'd say "GO FOR IT" and savor the taste. LOL. Good luck. ((HUGS)) Elissa
