Boils anyone????????

I am about 13 months out (165 POUNDS LOST!) and I get at least one huge, painful boil a month on the backs of my thighs, my butt and one time on the back of my arm. My PCP is clueless as to why. I mentioned it to Irgau but he really didn't have an answer for me. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and WHY does it happen!?!?!?!?!? Thanks guys!!! Susan

I use to get them before surgery...yes painful! I haven't had one since the surgery.....I wonder if age has anything to do with them? Debbie

I will be 36 next month, I never had them before the surgery. Now they are like clockwork. I would give my left arm not to get them anymore...okay that was a slight exaggeration, but I would like to know what they are from! Thanks Debbie, Susan

Go see a dermatologist. It might be a recurring bacterial infection or virus. Make sure your PCP gets a copy of the records and get copies for yourself too. You never know, you might be able to get PS on your thighs & butt because of this. Dee
