Humiliating Moment
I wasn't going to post this, but maybe some of you can relate and have had your own humiliating moments.
I had to go to st. Francis for PAT (pre admission testing) Since my EKG and X-ray were over 6 months old I had to get them done again. I have been working on my clearancs for a LONGGGGGGGG time....
What was a bit humiliating was the x-ray part, First the girl gave me a gown, open in the back suprisingly it fit but I couldn't get it tied (she didn't bother to help) don't worry still had my shorts on. Then she gave me this radiation shield, not the normal one, this was a belt, a belt?? of course way to small (she asked me to give her the other side, I guess walking around me would have been her daily exercise...haha(you ahve to laugh no matter how painful, right?)) and when i said I don't think its gonna fit (only went like half way aorund me) the girl(sweet young girl, not her fault) said "oh, everything fits" and proceeded to wrap tape (the clear kind used over gauze) around me and the belt. Reminded me of just one more reason why I want surgery.
