A wow moment for me....
Sunday, I went to my good friend's daughters wedding. I have known her family for over 15 years, I have seen her mother and father and sisters and brothers at every gathering she ever had. Well, I went to this wedding in my little black halter dress. And I saw her mom, and spoke to her and she blankly said hi to me and walked offf. So I went up to my friend Eileen, and told her. Her family doesn't know me anymore. So she took me around to everyone and re-introduced me to everyone. They couldn't believe how I have changed. The whole time at that wedding I felt so good, and confident, and pretty three words I never experienced a year ago.
That is my wow moment.
Take care,
Dana
That is such a cool Wow!!! I had lost 70 went to a friend's wedding and got that type of comment and it felt fabulous, the next day I fell and messed up my knee and other people started feeding me and the kids... comfort foods... so on went 50 lbs... I was soooo upset (my leg was in an immobilizer for 2½ weeks and that's when a lot of weight went on) But I sitll haven't lost it, and it's making me crazy, especially since I'm bakc on the diet! Oh well, post-op, watch out, next summer I'll be wearing halter tops and mini skirts!

Dana, I did the same thing at the HB support group. I said hello when you came in the door. Thought to myself make sure you talk to the new gal, then you said : "Good directions." I had to take a step back to think who I'd given directions to. I have to admit you had me fooled Dana. Must be the new hair do. You look so good and the blonde hair looks great on you. Keep up the good job. These are Wow moments for all of us. ((HUGS)) Elissa
