One month check-up
I saw Dr. Wynn this morning for my one month post-op check. She is concerned because I have been having some abdominal pain and wants an EGD to check it out. It feels like gnawing in my stomach with growling, like hunger. It happens with food or water, doesn't seem to matter much. I lost 22 lbs since my pre-op weigh in, and had lost 7 prior to that for a total of 29 so far.
I tried some tuna and cottage cheese yesterday and they went down fine. Dr. Wynn also said sometimes when we are drinking a lot of our meals (like the protein shakes, soups, etc.) that the stomach doesn't stay full, and when we eat more regularly, those feelings go away. She wants to be on the safe side and check things out, which is one of the reasons I love this group so much as they truly care about their patients and leave nothing to chance. Has anyone had the EGD post-op? Is it like the first one that she did pre-op?

Congrats on the weight loss!! Joni and I have been thinking of you! She's away but sends good wishes.
I'm sure everything will be fine, and I'm glad Wynn is checking you out. Better to be safe than sorry.
