Prayers URGENTLY needed

We are back from the hospital, but Alyssa's PCP just called and told me that the test results do NOT indicate Post Strep Glomerulonephritis as the hospital had assumed. They indicate kidney malfunction/failure and she needs to see a nephrologist and there is a good chance of a biopsy as well. I'm a mess... As for other things going on in my life, I am supposed to have a 2nd interview on Monday with KCI... kinda pales in comparison to hearing that your baby might have a condition that has been a major killer in your family though doesn't it? I'm trying to hold on to the positive and the possibility of getting that job which will help her out, while at the same time wondering how I can help my little girl... I just can't seem to catch a break! I'm 3 weeks from surgery. I hope all of this is sorted out by then and that we know she's a healthy little girl with a kidney fluke, but for some reason, I doubt my life would be that easy... yeah I'm having a downer moment... I suppose I'll go to avoid depressing anyone. Hugs to all... Rachel

Rachel, I just wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know you can get down very easily when you feel so helpless. Look to the heavens - because you're being watched over whether you know it or not!!! If you need anything, please do not hesitate to ask. You've been here for all of us, and I'm certain you have more friends than you know. Hang in there!!!! Cathy
