Hello from England
I'm in the UK for 3 weeks on business, sorry to be missing the PMRI meetings. Fortunately I'm able to keep up on my program because, my gosh the food here is terrible! I packed enough protein powder that I thought for certain I was going to be stopped by Customs..."ma'am what is all of this white powder? Meet Bertha, she's our body cavity search specialist..." Fortunately that DIDN'T happen!!!
I had my 3 month check up with Dr. Wynn the day before I left the country, she was very happy with my progress...told me I was right where I was supposed to be. She also offered to exchange jobs with me when she learned I was spending 3 weeks in the UK. I think I'd rather be a surgeon...I guess the grass is always greener!!!
Take care everyone, and I'll see you at the September meeting.
Joni
Hiya Joni!
Glad you got there safely, and I hope the trip's a good one. Let me know if you think you'll need a car hire while you're there and I'll get you my friends info, she's about 45 mins from you. LOL @ Bertha...ya know, there are some people who would think that was a bonus
Still laughing from the Starbucks outing. Hopefully you will see some horribly wonderful late night British informercial whilst ( slipping into Brit mode for you haha ) you're there. I bet they have some dooozy's. Hey to all the Eastender's and looking forward to tales of Gwaseppi haha. Hi Jenn if you're reading!
Linda
Oh and P.S. The next meeting you're in...everytime you hear someone say the word paper, you'll think of.....lmao...is that your Blackberry a buzzin?? Muhahahaha
Hi Joni, When I traveled numerous times over the last year, I had 1 small suitcase full of Unjury, Splenda & Crystal Lite. Noone seemed to care. I had the stewardess on the plane heat me up a can of Progresso soup that I brought in my carry on luggage. She was sooooo sweet when I explained it to her. On most flights now you don't get food unless you are in 1st class or buy a prepacked nasty dry sandwich. Hope you get the chance to do a little sightseeing and can get in some exercise or at least some walking around London in. ((HUGS)) Elissa
