I am scheduled for surgery with Dr. Irgau in Christiana on August 11. I am really excited! But my emotions are getting the best of me! I have 4 small children and can't imagine them living without me. Pleae keep me in your thoughts and prayers to give me strengh to get through! Thanks WLS friends! Bridget

Bridget, I'll say an extra prayer for you dear. Hopefully you will have help & support for the 1st 2 weeks especially. I'll pray that the WLS energizes you and for a speedy recovery. Emotions at this stage are very normal. Try to stay positive and focused on your ultimate goal of being healthy. Take it easy and remember to walk, sip & breathe. Remember to bring chap stick to the hospital. It'll be your best friend for the 1st couple days. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Elissa, thank you so much for your post. Again, everyones support means the world to me! Extra prayers always help!! Ironically, I just bought chap stick and packed it for the hospital! I am a nurse, and know how dry you get after surgery! I love being on the nurse side of the bed, not the patient!! LOL Thank you so much!! Bridget

Bridget... I'm glad someone got that Aug 11 slot! They offered it to me but I couldn't get off of my medications fast enough so I had to pass on it! You'll do great, we're all behind you too!!! Huggles Rachel PS praying for you is a priveledge
