Weight discrimination is an ugly fact. It happens in the workplace, at stores, etc. Sometimes we even discriminate against ourselves when we're fat. Weight discrimination is rampant in the workplace. It's hard to proove, but HR people are being made aware of it now. It was even in my textbook last summer and was discussed at length in class. I'm glad you've finally got a diagnosis and are well on your way to a healthy pain-free life. Dee

Sometimes I think that its all in the packaging...and apparently it works that way in the medical field too! I understand how you feel. I am at the same place but with a different problem. Its amazing how each Dr I had said the same thing...lose weight...I finally do it and I have more problems. My problems are not nearly as bad as yours are my dear...and its got to be hard dealing with that baggage too. I got test results back this week and well what I was told was the ovary the Dr took out 4-5 years ago may still be there? Can that be? Now I am off to see another Dr for a second opinion. One thing they cannot say to me is to lose weight...RIGHT? I really do believe we have to get our own medical degree and take control of our bodies...We depend on experts but we need to become experts. I am so glad to have this support system here for my WLS....Now if I could find a support system for these other problems we have, we would have it made! Don't get discouraged and keep that smile on your face! You can rise above all of this and take it on......And WIN! Debbie
