Hi Everyone: Thanks everyone for all your love and support. It was greatly appreciated. I developed a fever which turned out to be a UTI. I had to stay an extra day. Things are pretty good. I am extremely tired and I probably shouldn't say this....I AM HUNGRY.....FOR FOOD. I don't think my pouch is going to be satisfied until it has some food. They say I can start pureed on Sunday and I can't wait. I'lll keep everyone updated. Thanks again. (((((hugs))))) Kim

Welcome home, and welcome to the loosing side. Oh how I remember my first bite of food, mashed potatoes with melted cheese. My pouch wasn't too long telling me to slow down. Eating slow took alot of disipline for me, I still to this day tend to eat too fast. So enjoy your first meal on sunday. Keep us posted. Take care, Dana

Welcome Home Kim!!! So good to see you posting. I imagine the UTI has left you a bit drained, but so glad you could hop on and post that your home and doing well. Like Dana, mashed potatoes and cheese was heavenly. Once you can "eat" that first meal (okay, not really a meal, just one or two bites) you will feel so much stronger. Hang in there. Hugs, Tammy

Hey sweetie, Sorry I didn't get your emails sooner. IEvery time I tried to access my work emails from home it wouldn't connect to the mail server. I did get them this morning and I will call you at a more reasonable hour. For some reason I've been up since 6:30am. Although it's been nice having the house to myself and being able to read the newspaper without hearing mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, etc! LOL Glad that you've home. Your recovery will go much quicker now. Dee
