Update
Hey everyone, I'm doing really well. Nothing has made me sick yet (knock on wood). Although the fact that nothing has made me yack yet scares me to death. I'm afraid that I'm going to be one of those that can eat everything and not get sick! I'm down 14 pounds sicnce I started the pre-op liquids on the 11th. Been out running around every day since Sunday and am taking evening walks around the neighborhood. I've been sleeping really well too and haven't needed any pain Meds since Monday. I did start my period again, which I expected. Unfortunately my face is breaking out now. Pretty boring really.

Yes I do work with your Ex Dave at GBA. He was very sweet and stopped by the Hospital on his way home from work for a few minutes the day after my surgery. I think that it's been too quiet for everyone at the office since I've been off. I guess I'm the noisy one there! LOL I'll be back to work on Monday and back in my Management Information Systems Class Monday night! I'm ready to go though! It has been great being home with my kids and not getting out of bed until 9am. And I did manage to get caught up with the laundry and bagged a bunch of clothes up for the cancer federation. We took 4 leaf bags full of clothes & shoes over there yesterday. I guess all the work worked, cause I feel great this morning. Got rid of a bunch of gas first thing (you know what I mean). I didn't think my belly would ever go down! Now I just look fat, not fat & pregnant! Down 15 pounds as of this morning.

LOL... Dave strikes again!
He said "she's on vacation this week, that's all I know" when I asked him if you had had your surgery last Wed... he's so weird!
Glad you're down 15... I can only hope I drop as fast when the time comes!
Sleeping in... what an interesting concept... not sure I would know what to do with that option if I had it lol
Hugges!

Sorry he's not allowed to give out personal info on any co-workers no matter who calls. I got in trouble a few years back because I told someone whom I thought was a close friend of Mr. Gahagan's that he was tuna fishing. Bill gave me a good talking to about giving out personal info personal info. So now I instruct all newcomers that absolutely no personal info goes out unless specifically told to do so. So he did what was policy. Unless you told him, he doesn't know we're on the same message board. I haven't talked to anyone from the office since Tara called on Wed.

Hi Dee,
Yeah, he knew we were on the same board, he had even told me before that you were having the surgery or I probably wouldn't have put two and two together... he actually kept using you as a way to try to convince me not to have it done... lol... said I was hopping on a bandwaggon of people who were interested in a quick fix instead of being healthy...
It also explains why he kept telling me I could ask you if he went to christmas parties alone or not... if you're not allowed to say anything, you couldn't tell me the truth... don't worry, I caught him lying though... as usual...
Honestly, I'm not bitter... but we're divorced now, what point is there to lying to me now? Doesn't make sense...

Dee,
Congratulations Dee!!! SO good to hear all is going so well for you.
BTW - the period thing is really normal after surgery, as is the breaking out. Kinda like we are going back to our early menstrual days when things get a bit whacky and unpredictable and the hormones produce all kinds of little cuties on the face. But we hardly notice as we are too busy watching all the weight fall off!!!
Don't worry about not getting sick yet ... truly that is a GOOD thing!!! Just remember when you start to more solids ... keep them moist and chew, chew and chew some more. And at first - SLOWLY was my absolute motto!!!
Continued best wishes to you.
Hugs,
Tammy
