I haven't been on the board since before surgery. I am still learning how to manage my surgery and my 8 mnth old. Whew THAT is very hard! (getting a 24 hr sitter to be here at all times) I wanted to say that I have lost 15 lbs already and that MAY seem great but I am worried about being dehydrated and not eating enough. I know, I know.....always keep something with you to srink.....blah, blah, blah...BUT I try to follow my routinue and then around 11am- 2 pm I will start to forget to eat and drink. I won't realize until about 7pm that I hadn't of eaten but once or twice that day. Like I said, I have an 8 mnth old that is on the move all day and needs his Mommy, I do household chores, laundry, and cook dinner, etc. I KNOW I need to make adjustments. I don't know why I am writing on the board cause I am the one one that can change MY ROUTINE. Maybe there are some kind words or suggestions out there. (ps.....I have to depend on help from teeangers to help with the baby and some days that is like "pulling gum out of your hair") Thanks for listening.

Hey Christina!!!! I know what you are going through. I am a stay at home mom with my two children. They are 4 and 9. Plus, I watch my 11 month old nephew and 1 year old niece. This place is wild. It was hard at first for me to, to get into a routin and to remember to eat and drink. This is what I have come up with. If possible, try to get up early. I try to get up before the kids come over and eat my breakfast and take my vitatmins. This is usually around 7am. I keep a bottle of water on me at all times. I wear pockets with shorts and put it in my pocket(this may sound out but it works). Around 11am, I have a snack. This is good for me because when the kids have lunch, I do not have to worry about eating again until around 2pm. I eat at 2pm(usually the babies are down for a nap) and then I eat again with my family around 6:30pm for dinner. I always keep my water with me and/or keep it out so I see it. I have water in 20 ounce bottles. I have found that if I drink four of them a day, I can get all my fluids in. It is funny!!! When I get a bottle out, I automatically psyche myself up to finish the whole thing until I can go to the next bottle. Don't know what that is, but it works. Hope these suggestions are helpful. Congrats! on the weight loss and welcome to the losing side. Smiles! Julie

Welcome, Christina. Maybe you should set an alarm/timer to buzz every two hours for a mini-meal. Keep a bottle of water in your hand to remember to sip constantly. Hope this helps, sounds like otherwise you are doing fine. Dianne
