Consult done

Hi everyone, just an update on my progress. I met with the surgeon yesterday for my first consult and have testing next week for UGI and ultrasound. Nutrition is on 8/4 and then psych will be the same day right after. Waiting for the call from Dr Korus's office for sleep study day and time. Everything is happening so fast my head is spinning. Too much info in this little head of mine. LOL So, as you all can see, I decided to go with it and just pray that everything works out for the best. All of you know how worried I've been from the posts I've put on here and hadn't even had my consult yet. The doc answered all of my questions and put me more at ease. Still a little worried, but I guess that's to be expected, after all, it is major surgery. Please someone tell me I'm not crazy for feeling like this. Well, enough of my ranting and raving, how is everyone today, good I hope.

All is normal for you....trust me things start to spin....in the beginning but you get your focus back. It just takes time. You will do just fine.....Relax and enjoy the ride. Debbie

Beth, Sounds like you are experiencing all the normal WLS journey anxiety. Once you get the consult in, and make all the appointments, you are on your way. Try to stay focused and positive. Let good health be your motivation. Read & look at some of the profiles of people on the boards you will see a lot of yourself in our journeys. The more you read, the more you educate yourself. The more information you have the easier the decision becomes. I chose health & quality of life and have never looked back or been sorry about my decision. ((HUGS)) Elissa
