It's been toooo long.........

Hi Everyone..........I haven't posted in quite awhile and was just hoping everyone is doing well. As for myself, I'm having a hard time. Can't seem to keep much of anything down. (I am 6 wks. out) Dr Peters ordered a gastrograffin swallow test last week. All seemed O.K. with that. Tomorrow I have a CAT Scan with barrium and some blood work to do before I see him in the afternoon. He has extended my time off from work for another few weeks while he tries to get to the bottom of my problems. Has anyone had similar problems?? Just want to know that I'm not the only one who isn't ready to say that this surgery is the best thing that I could have done. I hope to get to that point soon!! Bonnie

I haven't had any problems but I have faith in Dr. Peters he will get to the bottom of your problems, I have heard of other posties who had strictures, so like I said, I am sure Dr. Peters will not stop until he finds out what is wrong. Hi! Bonnie!I live in bear DE I 'm hoping you feel better! I plan on having the surgery soon .I have a stress test to do and take some equity out of house for surgery. I will be going to Barix Clinic in Langhorn PA for mine. Do you know they are having a get together Aug. 21&22 in PennsvilleN.J. just over theDelaware bridge at Riverview Park? People who have had the surgery or are thinking about it. I will be getting mor info e-mailed to me soon. My daughter had the surgery 17 months ago I took care of her it was ruff but as time went on it got a little bit easyier each day.Don't let it get you down.
