Well, I am thrilled. I wear a womens size 16 shorts and a misses large top. Its been about 18 years since I wore those sizes. I even have a two piece bathing suit size misses 16!!!! I just wear it in the back yard and my surgery scar is still out there but so what. I am so happy. All you newbies its worth it every bit. I wore a 26-28 and it was tight. I can even cut my own toenails! (ITs the little things that are great). I have had no nausea except if I eat too much. Sometimes I can't tell till I'm done. Sometimes I can eat alot sometimes not much. Depends on consistency. I can eat about 1 cup sometimes more sometimes less. I want to go everywhere. Me, who never wanted to leave the house hardly at all to go to anyone's house. I go to barbecues, malls, wear shorts and tops and soak up the compliments. Don't anyone tell you you won't do that because believe me you will. I can fit into seats. I had one of those around the waist purses I couldn't even get around my waist (it was even xtra xtra large) and I hadn't had it on in 6 months. It fell off my waist!!!! I have never dumped. I follow the rule. 11grams of fat per meal, 2 grams of sugar. I haven't tried to see if I can tolerate more of either. Why would I want to know??!!!! Then I would probably want more. The bit thing I need to do is exercise. I had trouble with my back and nerve in my leg until about 1 week ago and now I'm going to try to bicycle. I weighed 260.8 and now weigh 179 thats about 81 lbs. I have a dog who weighs 75 lbs and I can't even lift him. I can't believe I ever weighed that much. I hope you all listen to me. I am the happiest person in the world right now and just follow the rules and you will be fine. It also takes work. Sometimes I am tempted to eat more of what I shouldn't. I could eat more carbs or more crackers or more bread. I think the hardest thing for me right now is not eating with my meal and waiting 30 minutes after a meal to drink. I still have a hard time with that. I don't miss sodas. Crystal lite decaf tea is my friend and the other crystal lite drinks. I love popcorn but have to be careful of it. I can eat tons. I don't know why. Reduced fat wheat thins are my obsession. I have been making fresh fruit salads for summer. Strawberries, blueberries, mandarin oranges, peaches pears and bananas and grapes. (peaches and pears are in low carb splenda syrup hard to find but great). What a great snack!! Also found some low carb whip cream perfectly allowable and thought I died and went to heaven. I am working hard in the next months on my last 19 lbs. I hope to get to a size 14 (would die for a 12 but I'm not greedy) I take no medication. Just flintstones chewables twice a day and calcium twice a day. Cholesterol 184, triglycerides 88; and BP 120/80 or lower. What more can you ask for. I have some trouble with constipation and would like to know where I can get some smooth move tea. What stores??? Take prune juice and apple juice but sometimes you have to watch out for those calories. I have some sagging skin but not much unless it will get alot worse I'm not too bad. I'm not beauty queen but thats okay; I look normal for the first time in many years. My goal in the next few weeks is exercise. I know I would probably lose more weight. I am losing very slow. Any other suggestions? Would appreciate hearing from others who had there's done Nov 19 at Barix in Langhorne PA. Thanks for the support and good luck to all on their journey to the losing side. God has been good to me and I did exceptionally well. Good luck to everyone. As another note, my daughter Julie is doing very well. She had a little minor problem with a very small ulcer but is healing and losing well. She feels well too. We are going to be a great couple at the end of the summer!!!

Hey Nancy, I am so glad you are doing so well. I feel like you just wrote what I'm feeling. We all have alot of similar things happening to us. example: (toenails) (going into stores). I was in 5x's. I bought a pair of 14WP zip up pants. WOW. Not gonna miss the elastic waitbands either. CONSTPATION. I keep pretty regular. I still have 1/2 cup of oatmeal with a tiny pat of butter, splenda and about 1/4 cup of carb coutdown skim milk every morning. I put 2 tbls of flaxseed in it also. I know it if I don't have it I get constipated real quick. I try to get in 1 or 2 pieces of fruit. I just started eating a whole peach or banana a day. I used to eat some and give the rest to my hubby or grandkids. I eat maybe 10 blueberries or 5 strawberries for my pm snack. These I got frozen from Trader Joe's. I never got back into the coffee or tea routine. I pretty much stick with crystal lite & water now. Keep up the great job. Both you and Julie are doing fabulous. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Hi Nancy, You look wonderful, and Congratulations on doing so well. I have finally had my surgery(Langhorne, Barix) I had it on the 8th. I am doing real well and haven`t had any problems. I seem to be tolerating everything on my list. The only thing I`m having a problem with is the gas,it wakes me at night so now I`m trying lactaid to combat it. Anyway, C ongratulations on your progress. Lea of Del.
