Apryl,
To make a profile go to
http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/newauthenter.phtml
log in using your OH name and password
Once logged in it will take you to your set up page. On the left of your screen you will see scale and right below that scale you will see a section called "General Info" (update your profile here). Click on that and scroll down until you see a paragraph box that says "comments". What ever you put in this box will show up on your profile. Make sure you click the "Update My File" button when you have added what you want to share or everything you have added will be lost.
If you want help with a "fancy" profile and you are not familiar with HTML programming, you can send your request to [email protected] and they will help you out.
Any questions about the above directions, just ask, I will do my best to help you.
Hugs,
Tammy
Apryl, Welcome. You'll do fine. Try to remain focused & positive. You have the "Am I doing the right thing? jitters. I'm sure you have read our profiles by now. You are soooooooo in the right place for support. We all have so mu*****ommon. Only advice I can give is to Walk, sip & breathe after surgery. The more you do these things the faster you will recover. Bring lip gloss for your dry lips. I also had a Bari-bear (teddy bear) to hold against my tummy in the hospital. My Angel, Leigh, brought it for me. I gave it to her Hubby, Chris, so he could have it for his surgery. Don't know where it is. But if you bring a pllow you can hold it to you if you want to cough. Helps ease the discomfort.
Are you coming to the PMRI meeting on Saturday? Should be some of us there. Sometimes we goto Trader Joe's and Panera's after if you are interested. TT you soon. Elissa
