Hi gang, I reported to you all that Kenn Miller went home. He was home all of one day. He went back into the hospital with a lot of pain. They are going to do some surgery on him this week to get in there and see if they can figure out what is doing on inside of him. Even before he went home he was having problems eating, had a lot nausea and brought a lot of his food back up. His surgery was over a month ago and he's only had about 3 days out of the hospital. He is not a member of this site (yet). So please feel free to give your support here in this message and I'll make sure he gets them. Thank you all so much. Gigee

Gigee, please give Kenn my best. Even though I don't know him, I feel that I do from these messages. It looks like he had a different kind of surgery than the rest of the gang. Is that right? Is a Fobi Pouch Gastric Bypass the same thing? Well anyway, my prayers are with him. Ellen

Seems like the same thing I went thru shortly after my surgery. Do tell Kenn that it will get better each and everyday once they figure out what is wrong. I had several things causing my severe nausea and vomiting. My "old" stomach kept creating bile. Then the new stomach swelled shut where they re-attached the intestine. After that I had an ulcer that blocked the opening of the stomach. I remember the first time that I went to the E.R. for this I dryheaved for almost days. Once they did the CAT scan and put a drainage tube into the old stomach I felt almost instant relief. I had to wear a drainage "bag" for 3 months. Not able to get a shower was the worst thing. You just can't get "clean" with a sponge bath if you know what I mean. I remember being very depressed and so tired and drained... It took quite a while to get back to my old self. So, I do know that Kenn is going to needs lots of support and lots of laughs to help lift his spirits. I know I can went thru a stage of asking myself what in the world did I do. Do keep Kenn and his family in your prayers!
