Update
First of all I want to thank everyone *****sponded to my last post. It sure makes me feel supported and loved
The latest is...my Cardiac Cath has been moved to Thurs. June 9th and My Bypass has been moved up a day. It is now Tuesday June 14th. At least I will be so busy in the next week I won't have time to think about it. I am feeling much better about all that is going on. Everything happens for a reason and it is better to know everything is fine instead of just hoping there are no problems. I'll keep you posted.
Anyone going to the PRMI meeting on Monday night? I am bringing my husband so he can hear Dr. Irgau talk about the first three months.
Ellen
Unfortunately I can do Monday nights for I have rehearsal. But take a guess on where I'll be that Tuesday right after work . AND as of this moment, my friend Christopher will be there with me. I told him he had to come sing that song for you lol.
I am glad you are feeling better about everything that is going on. It is hard sometimes to embrace those things and you have done it like a champ!
I am praying for you. Please keep us posted!

Ellen,
I was also surprised with a lovely cardiac cath. Had myself all worked up before the cath, but it turned out to be easy. They took me into the Cardiac lab and had rock music from my era on the loud speakers. Several of the "helpers" and I were all singing! And it only took a few minutes before I heard the good ole doc say "You have a nice healthy heart. Looks like it belongs in a 16 yr old." Sure made me feel so much better going into the RNY with all doubt removed. You are right, better to know up front than to be surprised during your RNY! Don't stress too much, sometimes the preliminary tests are not as accurate on us "busty" women!!!
Hang in there! This will all be a distant memory soon! I had pretty much forgotten about mine until I just read your post!
Hugs,
Tammy
