This downstate guy needs some help with your abbreviations. Since most of you nice people post are from Wilmington and up north, I have no idea what PMRI means. Could you help me with this and some of the support groups look really good and would like to attend them. I had my surgery done over in Havre de Grace, MD by Dr. Smoot. Hi Joe! PMRI stands for (let's see if I can get this right) Preventative Medicine and Rehabilition Institute. That's close anyway. It's where a lot of us go for pre-op nutrician classes and some of the clearances we have to have. It as well is where a lot of us go for support meetings post-op. Hi Joe, I went to one of Dr Smoot meetings a couple weekd ago with my aunt. Nice doctor but that hospital where they have the meetings is too long a drive for me. I live in Smyrna and go to Ginger Barkleys house" New Beginnings" . We meeting there once a month,chat and help one another. Looking forward to seeing you there. Beth
