Hi All, I am a bonifide "lurker" and I have a question for yall. You guys answer questions so well and informed!!! I have an appointment with Dr. Danyo in late July and I know my insurance covers the tummy tuck but I also want to get my upper arms and inner thighs tightened up...does anyone have a ballpark figure for how much it might cost me?? I kinda don't want to go to my appointment totally clueless! My 1 year anniversary is this July 27th, and to date I am down 157 pounds. I feel awesome with "thank god" no complications! But I have a ton of skin...as I am sure alot of us do. Any comments or figures will help, thank you!!! Susan

Susan, I don't have numbers but I would like your opinion of Dr. Danyo after your visit. I will be a year out come June 21st and will be shopping for PS. I do want to wait until I am done all the loss I can do before we talk PS. I need legs, arms and tummy. Probably after that I will want a whole body make over....although I am not into pain and I hear with PS there is alot. I wonder why someone has not come up with a body suit to wear that looks and feels like skin? We could hide the loose skin that way LOL! I know I am dreaming. Thanks for your help! Debbie

Hey Debbie, I wanted to let you know what I thought about Dr. Danyo. He did PS on my hands when I had 3rd degree burns on my hands. You would not be able to tell I had anything done unless I showed you the marks. So he is good but he is busy and expensive. Take Care Tracy

Dr. Danyo is my daughters PS so I already kinda "know" him. My daughter was bitten on her face by a dog 6 years ago (she had over 150 stitches) and he has done wonders although he is not done. He is not the "warmest" guy but he knows his stuff. Let me knkow how your search goes. Thanks, Susan

Susan, Now I didn't say he was warm and fuzzy. That he is not however he does have a friendly staff. At least they seemed friendly to me. I was thinking about going back to him when I am ready for the TT and BR surgerys. I am a little worried about the pain. I normally don't have a lot of pain after surgery which is good because I don't have any family here in DE, it is just me and my daughter and you need someone to take care of you after a TT and a BR. So keep me in touch with what is going on and you will be in my prayers. Take Care Tracy

Susan, You have done a great job losing a 157lbs. I had PS from Dr.Danyo and he does great work and his bedside manner is okay as well. He is busy but very good. He did burns on both of my hands and you would not be albe to tell that I had 3rd degree burns at all. Honey as far as the cost you will not know a good ball park figure until he takes a look at you. The thing that will help you the most is if you can get it all done at the same time. Because the insurance company will pay for the anast. and the hospital time, you just have to pay for the diff. of the procedures that you want done extra and I would think you are looking at least $10,000 if not $15,000. Hey when you are healing you are going to need a recliner. Come see me at the Newark La-Z-Boy so I can afford my WLS that I already had done and the bills are coming in now. Take Care Tracy
