re: Double milestone

Hello everyone. I had a double milestone today. Had a Birthday & am now a healthy happy 56yr old. I went under the 200 lb mark too. I treated myself to 2 pairs of capri's and a pair of workout shorts. I hate baggy pants and went to the Plus dept in Boscov's and asked where I could find size 14W. The saleslady told me they don't have 14W. So I wandered over to the Misses dept and picked up 4 sizes from 18's down to 12's. The 14's were a perfect fit. The shorts were L. How cool to push the XXL and XL out of the way. If anyone needs any 18's or 20's let me know, I guess I have to clean out my closet again. Some things are hardly worn. Gonna do Panera's & Trader Joes on Saturday after the PMRI meeting. Anyone is Welcome. While in Trader Joe's we can dome label reading and find a bunch of good stuff. Then a couple of us might be going to Bare Essentials. For anyone that wants to be fitted for a new bra. It's not far from where we will be eating lunch. See everyone on Saturday. Elissa

Congrats on that birthday and smaller sizes....Thats GREAT! I want shorts but looking at my legs in a bathsuit this past weekend says....stay in pants! 18 and 20's are welcomed here. I am finding some 18s fit better....I think I am stuck inbetween sizes right now. But its nice to hear that my suits look baggy! See you Saturday. Welcome to the wonderful 1 world! Elissa, Happy Birthday and congrats of all of your accomplishments. Being 53 myself I worry that I might not be as successful as the youngsters, but you are a great inspiration to me.
