I saw Dr. Peters yesterday. I have lost 18 pounds in two weeks. I cannot believe it. I feel wonderful. My blood pressure is also good. It was 110/80. That is excellent for me. My heart rate is still a little high. It was 92. It keeps coming down and coming down. The last it was checked, it was at 110. Dr. Peters seems to think that I have a high heart rate and the more weight I lose the better it will get. It is not bothering me at all. I can drive again. That has drove me crazy. I drove home. I told my husband to get out of the driver's seat. I can also start my treadmill. I have already been walking twice a day around our property. Probably about 15 to 20 minutes at a time. The more I walk that better I feel. I am getting about 75 grams or protein in and about 65 ounces of liquid in a day. Some days are better than others. I went to the boardwalk today while my son was at pre school and walked two miles. I was very proud of myself and I felt wonderful. I am going to the meeting on Saturday. Cannot wait to see everyone there. IT FEELS GOOD TO BE A LOSER!!! Julie

Julie, you are doing soooooooo good girl. Congratulations on walking and your protein & water intake. It is good to be a Looser. 18 lbs. Don't you just love the Doctor's scale? Or did you loose 4 lbs since we chatted the other day? It was always good to me too. The scale at PMRI is even better. Once I weighed in both places on the same day and PMRI gave me an extra 3 lbs. I'll see you Saturday. Great to be driving isn't it? Now just 2 more weeks and you can have some real food and S_X. Try to behave til then. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Julie, You sound wonderful! And by looking at your post, you are doing wonderful. I wasn't even near your protein and water levels at even two months post op! EXCELLENT job! So glad all is going so well for you! BTW - my heart rate was well over a 100 pre-op and within just a short time after surgery mine started dropping and in no time at all it dropped down to 50-60 bpm. Now when I exercise I have a hard time getting it up Oh the things we have to put up with when we lose weight! Much continued success! Tammy

Congrats!!!!!, so glad to here your doing well. I had my pats last week, it didn`t look good, because the cardialogist I had didn`t make himself clear on my report. So the Dr. that did my check up called his office. I`m finally cleared, my surgery is for June 7th at the Barix Clinic. I`m very excited and a little apprehensive too. I will say a lot of prayers thet your will do well thru your journey to a new you. Lea of Del.

Congratulations on your clearance and your surgery date Lea! Excitement and apprehension are both very normal at this point. Hang in there and trust in yourself and your well thought out decision. It won't be long before you are posting that you are home and have lost ??? amount of pounds! I look forward to watching your journey. Best wishes, Tammy
