I've been reading the messages here for a couple of months.. very helpful. Decided to sign up today.. Trying to get used to the puree diet.. Does anyone have an example of a day on puree.. I wrote up a couple of days for my nutrition appoitment at St. Francis, but curious at what others are eating.

Hi Marsha! I actually have quite a few sample menus on my profile check them out. Just take it slow and easy at first and stick to very soft things. After I couple of weeks I found I could eat just about anything as long as it was pureed and very wet . Enjoy! You don't have to eat just a couple of things. You can puree up anything. Just take it easy at first Welcome to the board! Gigee

Welcome to the Looser's bench Marsha. We have a lot of lurkers out there. So it's nice to finally meet ya. Will you be coming to the meeting on Waturday? MAke sure you let us know who you are. As far as the pureed diet, get creative. Try to think up foods you like and then add in liquid to puree it with. EX: Corned Beef spread. A slice of corned beef, a couple tablespoons of Thousand Island dressing and a teaspoon or so of cabbage or cole slaw. Chop til smooth. MMMMM. Put 1/4 cup of low fat rigotta cheese, in some SF instant pistachio pudding, mix in about 1 1/2 cups Carb countdown milk and blend. Pistachio moose with protein from the rigotta and skim milk. Refreshing and tasty. Good luck. Keep posting how you are. We just love hearing from you all. Elissa
