medical alert charms

Any ideas of where to get medical alert charms and have them engraved. Also it was suggested that I only have "See Medical Card" engraved on the back and carry a card in my wallet. Any thoughts??? What do most people have engraved on their charms. The ones I have looked at Online look like it would be hard to get several lines engraved. Ellen

They are fairly reasonable at makemethis.com. I'm really fond of the ones Lauren's Hope sells because they have a bright red medical symbol...helps them stand out from fashionable bracelets. I haven't found a place that sells just these tags though, as L'sH won't sell separate parts. I make replacement bracelets for tags, and can help you out there once you get your tag set. Hi Susane, I think (but of course I can't find my catalog NOW) that Fire Mountain Gems sells medic-alert charms, etc. I am pretty sure I saw them in a recent catalog. I have no idea what they cost or how they compare to Lauren's Hope. I wasn't really paying attention since I already have a tag from Lauren's Hope. But you might want to check them out! Maybe this helps?!?
