:-o WLS Piece on the Today Show!

The Today show did a piece on the psychological effects of WLS. They interviewed 3 women who had the surgery and they talked about the problems some people have accepting their new bodies and also how their friends and families are reacting too. Very interesting since I've read so much about the psychological things that go on post-op. They did another segment where they spoke to a psychologist but I didn't get to see it. I'm going to NBC10.com later today to see if they will post the videos so I can watch again. Dee PS I'm already planning to get counseling.

If you don't mind me asking, do you have any issues with the weight loss? i.e. accepting yourself, husband, friends, family behavior towards the "new" you? My surgery is scheduled for 7/13. I was always a little overweight but really didn't start getting obese till I hit my 30's and really after I had my daughter. Dee
