1 WK post op, PS
Hi all,
I promised Elissa that I'd fess up on here. I had my TT, hernia repair and arms done last Tuesday with Dr. Kathryn Warren (Christiana Cosmetic Consultants). It's sore, and I have problems with dizziness after any anesthesia, but all in all I don't feel too badly (except for the cold which makes me cough and man that HURTS!!). Saturday I spent from 2-9 at the baseball fields with my son, so I guess I'm doing well. LOL. I had a drain in each arm (which were removed today) and two drains in the private area, one of which was removed today. That feels SOOOO much better. I'm very numb, everywhere.. I feel like Frankensteins Bride.. all these seams and can't feel anything when I shower.
I am taking pics and will share soon. I really love Dr. Warren. She was my second opinion, my first was with Dr. Danyo. I did not like him at all, or his office staff. I'll post more on why on the PS review forum. I like the way Dr. Warren spoke with me in my initial consultation, very infomative and supportive. So far, I like the way my incisions look, very uniform and neat ( I was scared of the lines being crooked.lol ) I had a lot of muscle repair done, and I feel she went above and beyond what another surgeon might have done (you know.. just get the basics done....).
Oh..and btw.. the morning of my surgery, I was 16# from goal. NOT the ideal weight for my height goal.. ... (I'd be skeletal....)but the goal that Dr. Irgau and I thought I'd be happy with before I lost even one ounce. It's funny how the more we lose the more we want to lose. I never wanted to be Twiggy, just healthy and energized. So...
So all this just two weeks after having the internal hernia repair. It's been a fun month!
Thanks for listening..

Tina,
Glad things went well for you. I have been thinking about PS but that is all right now is thinking. I am not sure I want to go under the knife again. I was scared the first time....Glad to hear your recommendation of the surgeon. I will keep Dr. Warren in mind when I go shopping! Keep up the good work and the 16# will be gone in no time.

Hi Tina,
What can I say? You have SO totally hung in there this last year and a half...and through some really rough times. Look at you now! Sassshhaaaaay baby! lol, teach me how! Seriously tho, you reached a goal that you and the good doc are comfy with and managed to stay on track. I'm very proud of you and all your accomplishments.
