I'm so glad I ran into you in the waiting room today. Made me much less nervous. Although, my husband thinks I'm crazy for walking up to complete strangers and start yakking away. What does he know, he's such a guy. Turns out, I'm not electing to do the RNY procedure. He would want me off all of my arthrits meds forever and ever and I just don't think that's an option. He's steering me towards the lap band, and I'm reseaching that now. Looking into insurance , etc. Dr. Peters was a wonderful, warm, patient man. And very candid. Anyway, wanted to let you know I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you today. Kim

Just remind him that he told this complete stranger about his gall bladder.. lmao! that will get him!! I enjoyed meeting you too! And I agree about Dr. Peters. He is my surgeon and he always takes the time to listen and answer all my questions. He's very funny too. Just wait, you'll see that part of him soon. I believe we have a couple of Lap Band folks that are active on the board so be sure and ask what you need to ask around here. And post it as well on the Lap Band forum. They are willing and able to help out http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/surgtype-forums/LapBand/posts.html Now how about the car? Is it going to live?

Oh my poor car. I have no clue, they haven't even looked at it yet. With the kind of week I'm having, I"ll be lucky if the roof of the garage didn't collapse on it through the night... turns out my husband's insurance doesn't pay for the lap band, so I decided to go ahead and start looking for a new job that may pay. Who knows? Then I get the newsletter from my benefit fund, and it's stated in there, as of January, they still do under limited cir****tances. I'm asking someone with some clout to look into it for me, because I need to know, ya know? Anywhoo.. was a hoot to meet you and I wish you nothing but more success in your journey.
