Debbie - I had this procedure done almost 2 years ago (due to having to use Prednisone for my RA). No big deal. It took about 15 mins and was similar to having an xray done. I now have a baseline prior to the surgery which wasn't intended, but I think will prove to be good later on. Hope all is well! Valerie

Hi Val, Thanks for info...I was afraid it was like MRI....Didn't like that! I wish I had a baseline before surgery I would feel better about getting this. Has your surgeon requested this testing after WLS? Debbie

Debbie, You will be fine. My doc has me scheduled for one a year from here on out. It is best to get them at the same time of year for the most accurate results. Be glad for it, it is an excellent test for us. Hugs, Tammy
