I don't know which is worse: the angst of waiting for the surgery to be over and her to be back in her room, or the pure agony of leaving her alone at the hospital tonight - it was SO HARD to leave her there. Ugh.
Oh the flip side, Dr. Wynn said her surgery went just fine with no complications. She was pretty loopy tonight, with or without the nice pump! She seems to be doing really well, and I think even surprised the nurse when she said her pain was 0 and she hadn't hit the pump in over an hour.
Before I left she even managed to do 2 laps around on her first time out of the gate! I'm so proud of her!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you to all for your continued and tireless support, it's so wonderful and means the world to both of us.
Whew - I'm pooped!!!

Penny,
That would be really wonderful if you stopped by, I know she would really appreciate it.
I slept like a log last night! Whew. I hope she got rest too - I'll find out soon!!!
Thanks for your message.
