How am I supposed to concentrate?
From my previous posts you already know the issues I'm having with insurance. Well, my PCP came through and put together her records along with a letter to submit to Aetna. I also wrote a letter to try to put a human face on a stack of papers to be reviewed. Well, I'm supposed to find out today if I get approval for surgery on Monday...so how am I supposed to concentrate at work all day?
Please keep me in your thoughts, and the word for the day is APPROVED...I keep running that word through my head...you know, the power of positive thinking!
Keep your fingers crossed for me!!!

Hiya Joni,
I have the PERFECT answer to your concentration problem...see, what ya have to do is find a way to distract yourself. I have a few ideas. Why don't we get some people together and go for a nice relaxing jet ski ride? Just think, cruising along the water would be so calming for the nerves. We could enjoy the scenery of a private island or be awed by the bay bridge! On second thought, it might be a bit cold to actually get in the water, so maybe we could head out to a nice restaurant I know, I hear they're having a fashion show there and we could pick out all the new clothes you will need soon!
Hang in there!!!

APPROVAL, APPROVAL, APPROVAL. This is the only word I am going to say for the day. My children will probably think that their is something wrong with their mother. But there already is something wrong with me, isn't there? Anyway, everytime I say that word, I will think of you. Fingers and toes are crossed too.

Joni -
I'm hoping by now, you've had word - a GOOD, POSITIVE word! I've been thinking about you - even talked about you this am with Penny (only good things!) and we were both hoping everything was going your way.
Let us all know when you know!
Keep smiling and thinking positively!
Valerie
PS Fingers, toes & legs crossed! It hurts too much to keep my eyes crossed!
