I'm home too!

Well, another surgery gone crazy. Nothing ever goes smoothly for me... lol Went in for my hysterectomy on Friday and my doctor had problems with stopping my bleeding. I ended up being in the operating room an extra 2 hours before they were able to control the bleeding. My doc wonders if my surgery may have something to do with it. She said my uterus was paper thin. You should have the texture of leather, if that make sense. Make me wonder if perhaps there is a connection. I've got to check with Dr. Wynn on this one. Anyone out there have a hysterectomy post-op? Please let me know. Thanks! Ginger

Ginger Sorry to hear you were doing so poorly.Hope all is well with you now.If you find out why your uterus was so thin please post.would be good to know if there is a connection and a way to prevent this from happening to others. Cathy

Hi Ginger, Glad you're home and ok. Maaaan, you do have the luck with surgery don't you?? LOL, take care of yourself, make sure you rest enough to heal properly and stay the heck out of that OR! Seriously tho, gald you're home and feeling better. Linda
